Introduction to Using Colour Energy to Keep Your Body's Energy in Balance
Most of what people are struggling with today is the discovery that their body has energy, is different from the person standing next to them, and that the more aware you are of how your body absorbs energy around you the easier it is to stay calm in the midst of a crisis.
Sometimes the best solutions are the simplest. Take color for example. We wear it. We light our rooms with it. We bask in it.
Our most important energy source is light, and the entire spectrum of colours is derived from light. Sunlight, which contains all the wavelengths, consists of the entire electromagnetic spectrum that we depend on to exist on this planet.
Light flows through our eyes and triggers hormone production, which influences our entire complex biochemical system. This biochemical system then affects our being. And light does not travel alone. Light travels with other energies.
We know that each colour found in the visible light spectrum has its own wavelength and its own frequency, which produces a specific energy and has a nutritive effect. We know some rays can be dangerous if we are exposed to them. But the visible light, the rainbow, has a soothing effect on us.

The September, 2005 issue of Azure magazine profiled the work of Louise Campbell, a Danish designer commissioned by the Danish Ministry of Culture to design productive workspace for senior political officials and staff. Each office was color coded, and created as a playful space with each color supporting the function of the individual. The results are inspiring.
