Dawna, you have made a contribution to my life which is real and tangible. The work you do will make a difference to people at a time so many are searching for greater fulfullment. You are a wizard, a warrior with strength of mind, strength of heart – great inner strength – you make results happen. – C. Whippy, Southwell Construction

Gratitude

Gratitude Page

Developing an innovative learning program for self-discovery and expanding organizational knowledge of itself has put me on the front edge of a wave it would seem few can see coming though the signals are evident. It has been a five year process between the research and development and now the search for early adopter companies who can see merit of applying scientific and universal principles to accelerate performance, creativity and innovation.

I want to thank the many sources of generousity and support who have, in their own way, ridden the wave with me. The ride is not over yet and it may never be over but there is a shift ahead where the patience, perserverence and presence with the purpose will be rewarded. Meanwhile....

My deepest gratitude to:

Lindsay Henwood, my daughter, for never giving up on me even when I was more than tempted.

My mom who has whole-heartedly supported my risk-taking ventures and taken the ride with me without knowing whether we were heading for land or more open water. She still doesn't know.

The rest of my family who no doubt have wondered what on earth I am doing but said little.

Banks:

  • Robert Fung and Curtis Yoshida of the RBC's Lynn Valley Branch, North Vancouver for recognizing that the rougher the entrepreneurial ride the better the story is at the end.
  • Coast Capital Savings, Vancouver Yaletown Branch - all Branches.
  • TD Canada Trust - Jocelyn at Customer Service in Yaletown for her encouragement when the sky was falling. Please note: TD Canada Trust is not a good bank if you are an entrepreneur or small business. They operate with a survival mentality and are not relationship based.
  • Merix Financial - Wendy and Claudia for the value they place on relationship as a means for resolving issues; for their sense of humor and their patience.

Wizards:

  • Jack Barnard for his hours of contribution to making sense of Dawna, designing the Mastering the Invisible program, editing the feature film script, editing articles and for speaking my language.
  • Shane Finlay, SAP Sales for his patient coaching on how to do sell myself and my work and for  his acceptance and support and for being such a wonderful and great friend.
  • Andre Darche, WebNames for his wizardry with all things technical.
  • Alma Anderson for her persistent support and love.
  • The horses I have the privilege of riding or hanging out with...Charlotte Ruse's Silken for example, for giving me nourishment. My dog Sheeba for her loyal companionship while hiking the mountain trails in snow, rain and sun in that order.
  • Cory Herter for his energy wizard talent and profound understanding of vibration. He has given my inner sight words and understanding. Josh for his welcoming nature.
  • The patient and amazing Carla Whippy for her unconditional support. Check out her own work at www.luminabiofeedback.com.
  • Robert Grey for going above and beyond the call of duty. A brilliant graphic designer who the later Ken Kerr, former Creative Director for Disney, was totally impressed with as we worked on the design for The Octopus Way ebook. www.brooksgreydesign.com
  • Bree Willson, Intuitive Counselor for sharing her higher consiousness information with me and for inspiring me to rediscover my love for the sciences.

  • Barbara Rector of www.adventuresinawareness.net and Linda-Ann Bowling of www.equine-imity.com for their insights into equine wisdom further prompting the exploration of innovative learning strategies. Barbara especially for taking such a critical interest in the feature film story.
  • Jack Barnard, performer, speaking coach, comedian, musician and great friend for his playful and profound SourceWorks program which opens people up to the place where they recover their creative talent. Find him through Susan.
  • Susan Levin of Speaker Services, a master community builder and great friend, who has provided me with a wonderful place to stay while in LA...my community AND who runs great programs with Jack as her team mate.
  • Dr. Lisa Brabo in LA who gave me her home for a month while I searched for an easier place to roll out innovative work. Dr. Debi Yohn for her consistent support.
